I've always loved art and am passionate about creating things in different mediums. After taking every art class offered in grade school and winning several contests/awards, I earned an Associate in Specialized Business with high honors (Alpha Society, President's Award, Dean's List) from Douglas Education Center, a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors (Cum Laude, President's Honor Roll), and a Master of Arts in Illustration from Academy of Art University.

Inspired by the old masters as well as modern artists, I have experience in a variety of areas including drawing, traditional/digital painting, and graphic design for narrative, editorial, and advertising projects. I like to mix mediums and have fun creating distinctive styles, and I enjoy working with subject matter ranging from figurative, floral, fantasy, and everything in between. Professionally, my work can be seen on military bases, book covers, business logos, an array of products such as clothing and home goods, and displayed in homes throughout the country. I'm from the east coast and have traveled the world during my service with the Air Force, where I also instructed aircrew students on checklist discipline and the responsibilities of being an aerial refueling specialist, as well as passenger handling and operational cargo movements around the globe.

I'm passionate about guiding students as they find/strengthen their creativity, and want them to be empowered to succeed. I mainly tutor subjects related to art such as drawing, painting, digital media, etc, but also do creative writing. Personally, I enjoy fitness/hiking, movies, books, being outdoors, food/cooking, and being with my cat. All of these things and so many more enrich my life and help me to be my best/healthiest physically, mentally, and spiritually.
