I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Recently, I earned my M.Ed. in Secondary Education.
As a Teach for America corps member, I've taught middle school English Language Arts in Kansas City, Missouri for the past two years. Prior to this experience, I tutored college students in argumentative writing, economics/regression analysis, and even organization/study habits; tutored high school students in algebra and ACT/SAT prep; and taught guitar to elementary school students.
Since high school, I have actively sought out opportunities to teach and help others grow. I love working with students, meeting them wherever they are academically, and finding ways to best help them learn and succeed.
