I have always enjoyed working with people of all ages because there is so much to learn as we work and study together. I have studied and taught at university, particularly the psychology of learning to better understand how we learn things and grow. I speak three languages, French, English and German (plus a little bit of Hawaiian) and this has taught me a lot about how culture, words, and thinking influence each other. Basically, I've been a lifelong student myself so I am very happy to interact with other learners!

Hobbies

I love to walk in nature. Moss and ferns are my favorite type of vegetation because they decorate the forest floor like a carpet. I do oil painting and I'm writing a children's book to teach others about change and growth. I used to compete in track and field and danced ballet into my late teens. I love to learn new things. Most recently I took a class in Hawaiian Navigation to learn how the ancient Hawaiians crossed the ocean using the stars to guide them without any instruments.
