When I began teaching five years ago, I absolutely fell in love with the process of instructing and learning. This passion grew and has taken to me different parts of the world so that I may become an effective teacher/tutor.
I received my undergraduate degree in illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design and am currently working on my master's degree in art history and visual culture from Lindenwood University. After, I will pursue my PhD in art history so that I may teach at a collegiate level.
The subjects I offer are visual art and art history. My favorite to teach/tutor is art history because it's essentially story telling and puzzle solving! I believe teaching and tutoring these subjects should be a fun conversation--a way to swap ideas and stories that make the learning process a lot more relaxed rather than being a one way street of a teacher just talking at you instead of with you. I love teaching and strongly believe education enriches our lives in more ways than one, a concept that I try to pass on to all of my students!
