My name is Max Holm, I'm 28 years old and have been a professional working musician for over 10 years. I've never done anything other than music. It is my passion and my profession.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music ('20 Summa Cum Laude), after having received over $500,000 in full ride scholarships. I was also a distinguished fellow of the Dave Brubeck Institute and was heavily courted by University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, though I chose Berklee.
I did a TED talk about how a near death experience and 7 blood transfusions helped turn me into an accomplished, award-winning jazz pianist. I have performed hundreds of gigs across the US and Europe, even playing with famous musicians and recording with Branford Marsalis, Jeff Coffin, Trombone Shorty, Victor Wooten, and others. I once opened for legendary band Journey. I've even performed with Jon Batiste and Stay Human.
I compose, produce, mix and master all my compositions. You can find me on Spotify and other streaming platforms. My productions span many genres from jazz, classical, pop, rock, R&B, hip hop, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, EDM I'm always working on something new. I specialize now in composing for film/TV/advertising.
I teach a variety of Music subjects. Piano, Composing, Producing, beats (Logic Pro, Ableton, FL Studio, Garage Band, etc.), Sight-Reading, Ear Training, Music Theory, Music Sync Licensing, Coaching and am passionate about finding all types of ways to monetize musical abilities. Music needs are so much more plentiful than they were even 10 years ago. There are so many opportunities for those who bother to dig in and learn as much as possible.
I've taught master classes in the US and in Europe. This is not my day job, which is music production for my own record label and publishing company. I'm here because I enjoy nurturing people who have a love of music.
Please, respect my time as I will respect yours. Thank you for your consideration.
