I am an energetic, native-Floridian with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students. I graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Central Florida. I have many certifications for gifted and enrichment as well as having completed 60 hours of Orton-Gillingham Academy approved instruction for dyslexia. With more than 17 years of classroom experience (20+ years one-on-one teaching) with students of a variety of abilities, I am dedicated to finding the best way to maximize the potential of EVERY student. I am a member of both the International Dyslexia Association and the Learning Disabilities Association of America. l love to see students having fun and learning at the same time! I know working with students one-on-one is the best way to develop personalized success and create lifelong learners.

Outside of teaching I enjoys visiting with my grown children, singing and performing, and going to all the Central Florida theme parks. I also have a long-haired miniature dachshund named Evi. I like to take her camping and hiking.
