About Me

Hi! My name is Jill and I am currently in my last years of the PhD in Spanish literature. I have been teaching Spanish for 7 years at the university level (from elementary grammar to literature and culture courses) and love sharing information about the language and cultures of the countries where it is spoken! I have worked hard to incorporate games, simulations, and real-life activities into my classes and hope to do the same for you. I took Spanish and French courses in high school, but really only became interested in Spanish after being an au pair in Spain. From there, I became a Spanish major (and French minor) and have been working with the language ever since!
