About Me

Hello! My name is Lissette Lawson, but I go as Teacher Liz. I'm from Brooklyn, NY. I wanted to learn Spanish and teach ESL, so I studied in Costa Rica and got a Bilingual Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching on and off for the past 20+ years. I have taught people of all ages from Pre-school to Adults. I believe online is as good as traditional education. With the appropriate use of technology we can both, the teacher and student get a lot out of a multi-cultural environment. Learning languages, opens the door to a whole different world and as we follow the path of life's journey, educating ourselves, is a never-ending process. You can never learn enough. The topic of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is very important for me, coming from a multi-racial home. I also have a career in Film & TV Production and have played basketball my whole life.
