I am a graduate of California State University Long Beach. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a focus on Graphic Design. Since graduation, I have been a substitute teacher in two different school districts in Southern California. I have worked with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade, and from general education classrooms to special education and RSP settings. During this time I discovered my affinity for teaching and instruction. Of the different subjects I am qualified to tutor in, I am most passionate about the arts and sciences! I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop and have experience with both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Creative writing is a passion of mine, and I love showing people just how creative they can be. I am extremely patient and understanding. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn, even things as daunting as drawing or painting with no prior experience!
