About Me

I completed my Bachelor's degree from University of Toronto and Master's degree from University of Guelph, both in Mathematics and Statistics. I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting in grade 12. As a senior math scholar, I helped students in grades 9-12 succeed in their math and stats courses. Then in university, I tutored first- and second-year students, providing support in their coursework. I have been with Varsity Tutors for over five years, where I've had the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects, including AP/Regular Precalculus, Calculus, and university/college-level statistics. My teaching approach is rooted in the Socratic method I believe that guiding students to discover answers by themselves not only helps them succeed academically but also builds lasting confidence and independent thinking skills.
