I am a graduate of Wright State University with a Master's Degree in Education specializing in mathematics, science and reading. I have since added social studies to my license. I have 11 years of classroom experience teaching Elementary (all subjects) and Middle School (6th - 8th grade math, science and social studies). My experience has been in Ohio, Indiana, California and North Carolina. In addition to offering tutoring for the students in my classroom, I created a tutoring program through the American Red Cross at a military base and worked as an AVID tutor as well. My other teaching experience includes teaching online with VIPKid and substitute teaching. Over the years, I have passed the CBEST, CTEL, PRAXIS (middle school mathematics, science and social studies, principles of teaching and learning (5th - 9th grade) and elementary education). I am passionate about curriculum and love creating engaging lessons in a variety of ways to help all my learners. I'm a hard working, passionate and caring teacher who wants everyone I help to succeed and meet their goals! I can't wait to share my love of teaching and learning!
