I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which is the number 1 pharmacy school in the country. I earned my Doctorate in Pharmacy and practiced in both retail and hospital for over 10 years. I decided to work from home so I could spend more time with my children, so I began tutoring and teaching ESL, pharmacy (NAPLEX exam) and math online. I have been doing this for 4 years, in which time I earned my TEFL and TESOL certifications. I have absolutely loved meeting students from around the world! My teaching skills won me a trip to China in 2019 and I was able to meet some of my students in person. It was a life-changing experience! My teaching style really focuses on personal connection, and building that foundation first helps the learner be motivated and want to work hard together to achieve success. I love to have fun in class as we learn, and play educational games/sing with my younger students. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and going on walks with my husband and 3 daughters.
