I believe that kids learn more when they are having FUN and enjoying the process! That's why I create fun, engaging lessons that target each student's specific needs and keep them motivated and moving forward. I absolutely love seeing a student's face light up when they master a new skill! I'm a positive-minded, caring tutor with 20 years experience as a K-5 Special Educator and K-2 Classroom Teacher. I'm also trained in a variety of research-based, multi-sensory programs that teach reading, comprehension, math, writing, and vocabulary skills. Utilizing my students strengths and interests, I help them make steady progress until they reach their goals.
