In 2021, I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. I received a Bachelor's degree in Media and Journalism with two minors, one in Creative Writing and another in Writing for the Screen and Stage. Due to my coursework, I have gained an exceptional understanding of writing, especially from a creative standpoint. Using this understanding, I have helped students with their writing in a variety of genres, including both academic and creative ones. Based on my experiences, I have come to firmly believe that there is no such thing as a "bad writer," only writers who have not found and honed a method and genre that works for them.
Additionally, I also have experience helping students develop organization skills to aid in academic success, especially now that a lot of learning is done online. I have found that developing skills related to organization are very important, especially once a student enters college, where students become responsible for their own schedule and it becomes very easy to forget tasks and assignments. I have created multiple organizational methods for myself and others to aid in not only task completion, but also in creating time for fun and relaxation.
I am also fluent in Polish, as I grew up in a Polish-speaking household and have been visiting Poland since I was a child. While at college, I took advanced Polish classes that further strengthened my understanding of the language and how to teach it to others. Due to this, I am able to speak, read, write, and translate Polish and am available to tutor any interested student who is learning this amazing language.
