I moved from Uruguay to the United States to pursue my degree in Marine Biology. I am a researcher, currently working with sea turtles in Mexico and teaching Science and STEM remotely in a private school. I am a senior at Florida International University and a learning assistant for general biology.
With a strong background in STEM education, my goal is to personalize each lesson to fit the student's needs by promoting an active learning environment. I believe that by encouraging hands-on experiences in the classroom, the learning process is much more fun and efficient, and in turn, students learn more!
A fun fact about myself is that I have a blog and love surfing!
Undergraduate Degree: Florida International University - Bachelor of Science, Marine Biology
I am a huge fan of the ocean, so I will enjoy every activity close to it. I love surfing, diving, and field hockey. The Spanish language is something I love teaching as well.
