About Me

Hi! I'm Dr. Candace Johnson, PhD, MPH, RN. I have been trained as a nurse and nurse educator since 2007. As faculty for multiple types of nursing including CNA, LPN, ADN, RN to BSN and college baccalaureate programs, I understand how to coach nursing students in preparation for CNA, NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN state board exams. In these programs, I taught Pharmacology, Complex Care of Adults, Medical-Surgical Nursing I & II, Community Health Nursing, Nursing Assessment Lab, Psychiatric Nursing and Nursing Leadership. I enjoy nursing instruction in didactic and clinical settings as well as standardized test coaching and remediation for nursing boards. I have gathered lots of useful information about exam study tips and NCLEX study plans. For my tutoring students, I maintain an invitation-only tutoring website full of study and practice materials.
