Hi, my name is Hunter and I am a second-semester junior at North Central College majoring in Global Studies with a minor in Political Science. In December of 2020, I graduated magna cum laude from the College of DuPage with my Associate of Arts degree in International Relations. During my time at the College of DuPage, I worked in the Writing, Reading, and Speech Assistance Center as a writing, reading, and speech tutor. During high school, I tutored students from grades 9-12 in AP U.S. History and AP English. As a student myself, I find it very important to create a personal connection with my clients. I like to gain a deep understanding of your educational goals and challenges so that I can offer the best assistance possible. The most satisfying part of tutoring is being able to watch students progress and reach their goals, that is why I'm here. Not only do I offer tutoring for course-specific classes; but general writing, reading, and speech communications skills; mentoring for high school and college students; ESL and ELA tutoring; scholarship and resume insight; among other services.
Undergraduate Degree: North Central College - Bachelor of Science, Global Studies
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling to Chicago from the suburbs, and eating great food! As a global studies major, I love learning about and indulging in new cultures. Living near Chicago allows me to do just that. I'm happiest when broadening my horizon, allowing myself to not only experience new endeavors but also enjoy the simple things.
