About Me

I am a veteran math tutor with over 10 years of experience helping students of all ages achieve their math goals. I earned my bachelor's in mathematics and my professional teaching license in 2010 from Indiana University, and I have been teaching and tutoring high school math full time since then. Not only do I have expert level knowledge in algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus AB, and SAT/ACT math prep, I know how to effectively help you learn and understand the material with my 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience. My favorite subject to tutor is SAT math because I know this test inside out, and I have helped countless students improve their scores significantly so they could go to the colleges of their dreams! My teaching philosophy is that learning should be stress free because we learn best when we are relaxed. I always keep this philosophy in mind whenever I tutor, so I keep things light hearted, and this approach has served my students very well. Outside of the math world, I enjoy playing basketball, salsa dancing, and making drawings and paintings.
