About Me

I am a certified ARRT Technologist with nearly 8 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist for Emory Healthcare. As a graduate of Grady School of Radiology, I have obtained knowledge and experience with both patients and positioning on various exams. As a Clinical Instructor, I help students in the clinic understand the best techniques in acquiring the best images as soon as possible with the lowest dosages. This involves assessing the student's comfort levels with patients and exams and adapting my approach for each student, as each student has a different learning style. As a student I was often stressed. It is not easy managing classroom and clinic and studying whenever possible along with balancing work and family life. I believe that if you understand what is going on in the clinic with positioning, that this will help you with the registry as well. I am here to help you and make things easier. We all need help and motivation to keep going and that is how I intend to help you. I am also available for other areas such as Medical Terminology, Marketing, Ethics, Reading, and Writing. I can help you learn, be knowledgeable, and confident in these subject areas.
