It is my passion to educate others who have a desire to learn dance/movement. I have been teaching dance in park districts, K-12, and in higher education for over 30 years. I began my career as a choreographer & dancer in 1981 at Columbia College Chicago and later joined the Dance Center faculty and Mordine & Company Dance Theatre in residence. I performed with many dance companies as a guest artist. In 1988 I met Katherine Dunham and my mentor Tommy Gomez and fell in love with the Dunham Technique. I studied at the feet of Tommy Gomez and Jimmy Payne, Sr. It is my joy to share what I have learned and to inspire emerging artists.
