I am a native from Spain. Graduated from the prestigious University of Granada, a beautiful city in the south of Spain. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and Advanced Proficiency level in French. I am an avid reader and love traveling around the world.
I am passionate about foreign languages, different cultures, travelling and good food. I have an extensive experience teaching in different contexts, levels and countries. I've taught in Spain, in France and in the USA. I am a firm believer that education is the best way to change the world and it's a thought that I try to implement in my teaching. In my classes I try to include part of my very own personal Spanish upbringing, but also my traveling and teaching experiences. While studying a foreign language, I believe that being very active in the learning process is crucial to get the necessary skills to feel confident. Project-based learning and a communicative approach are found to be very effective ways to learn a foreign language and are two techniques that I use in my classes very frequently.
The fact that I got a Master's Degree in French linguistics and literature and many training courses and experience teaching Spanish as a foreign Language have given me enough knowledge and resources to teach a variety of levels and two languages (Spanish and French).
Even though I have more than 10 years of teaching experience, I'm always willing to learn and try new strategies and approaches as well as new ways of teaching and Learning.
I'm eager to tutor through this platform and make connections with my students and help them and serve them in their needs.
