I strongly believe that every human being possesses creative potential, it only takes passion and practice to bring it out. Art is not something reserved for the elite few, but a communication tool that anyone can use to express their ideas, emotions, and lived experiences. My hope is that through teaching I can help students build confidence in their own work, develop a drive to improve, and to achieve their artistic goals in school and in life.
I graduated from Portland State University in 2018 and currently work as a freelance Graphic Artist and Web Designer. I have extensive experience with printed media, branding, marketing, event design, and user experience design, but my personal artistic practice is much more broad. I love experimenting with different mediums and materials, including paper collage, sculpture, photography, music, and interactive digital media/game design.
Education & Certification
Undergraduate Degree: Portland State University - Bachelor of Science, Graphic Design
Outside of my artistic practice I enjoy playing any kind of game I can get my hands on; tactical board games, deckbuilding or TCG card games, and all flavors of video games. I also watch anime when I have the time, usually in the shounen or mecha genres. To stay fit I like to grab a friend and play my favorite sport, Tennis.
