I have taught various English courses for 5 years now, starting with a Graduate Teaching Assistant position for Missouri State University. My expertise is rooted in Creative Writing, with an emphasis on Poetry and Nonfiction. For my 3-year MFA program, I filled a similar role, teaching English Composition courses.
As a teacher, I like to emphasize creative concepts and free-thinking. As an editor and curator, I work with Infrarrealista Review (currently) and other literary organizations. My freelance experience includes editing, advertising, and copywriting.
As a creative writer, I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize twice in 5 years for poetry. For over 10, I have dedicated myself to a career in writing and will continue to do so.

In my spare time, I hang out with my long-haired cat, Emma. I enjoy retro video games and weird movies that scare me.
