I am a graduate of The University of Houston and received my Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering this past May. Having recently finished college, I have a good understanding of the courses and conditions college students take and go through. While obtaining my degree, I often provided informal tutoring for my peers to help them grasp concepts and work through challenging homework problems.
It is also my belief that anyone can grasp a concept and that something that seems challenging or doesn't make sense often just hasn't been explained in a way that makes sense yet. I see it as one of my jobs as a tutor to find an explanation that makes sense. I mainly tutor mechanical engineering or related topics and mathematics. I aim to keep my teaching style casual and approachable so that my students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking help in the areas they need it.
