I am a fourth-year student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development, with a focus on secondary education. I've previously tutored students in ACT English, ACT Reading, middle school math, and high school English. However, my passion is for middle and high school life sciences. I believe science is an important tool for understanding the world around us and stimulates intrinsically motivated learning. While memorizing facts can improve grades, I believe teaching students to learn for themselves will bring exponential self-improvement in and out of the classroom.
