I am recent graduate with a B.A in Liberal studies from Peirce College. My past experience with tutoring involved the Subject areas of English composition, Reading , ESL, and basic Spanish to student's of various grade levels as well as adult learners between the years of 2018 - 2020. As writing has long been my passion, I have published a News article at the "News of Delaware County News Paper in 2008 when doing a journalism course in the past before obtaining my AA degree at DCCC. Through my tutoring experience, I enjoyed helping students of various grade levels to college level students with their writing assignments. I've also enjoyed tutoring reading and phonics to a kindergarten student at a private residence, as well as reading and grammar to first students at the Pan-American Academy charter school in Philadelphia.
In regard to my experience with the Spanish language, I have successfully completed multiple non-basic Spanish courses at DCCC and Temple university including intermediate levels I and II, and multiple high intermediate Spanish conversational and composition courses. I've tutored basic Spanish to secondary students and an adult. I continue to study Spanish on my own, and sometimes with others who are trying to retain their intermediate to advanced skills in the language as well as with native speakers. I have also done language exchange lessons online with native Spanish speakers.
Overall, my experience with teaching all of the above mentioned subjects had been quite enjoyable and rewarding. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
