About Me

I am an English Literature alum from the University of Central Florida. I am a certified FLDOE educator for grades 6-12. Since 2018, I have been tutoring students from middle school to the collegiate level. I specialize in reading comprehension, critical interpretation, and writing composition. I believe language arts is a tool that shapes and transforms the world we want to live in. My goal as a tutor is to share not only the meaning of words, but why they are meaningful. I teach my students that reading is thinking, it is a conversation that you add to and continue on and off the page. I teach students how to find and use their voice to communicate specifically and effectively. I teach students in the ways they learn best and that learning does not end in the classroom, it is for a lifetime.
