About Me

I am a 7-12 certified middle school History teacher. I also am on the premedical track. I have a major in History and minors in Biology/Chemistry from Duke University. I love teaching and firmly believe in the potential of every student. I utilize an uplifting teaching model that empowers students to not only learn the material, but be confident in their knowledge. I have over 8 years of teaching and tutoring experience in a variety of subjects. I have served as a mentor for the Durham Children's initiative, working to build an educational pipeline to college for underserved students. I currently tutor Chemistry, General Science, Math, English, History, and test prep.
