I am a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN, receiving my Master of Music in Composition. During that time, I also spent a lot of time studying audio engineering and computer programming. Over the past decade, I have taught private lessons and college courses in music technology and computer science. As an educator, I believe one of the most important aspects of learning is hands-on engagement with fun and interesting exercises; it's one thing to have a topic explained, and quite another to actually do it. Beyond my experience as a teacher, I have also spent my spare time working on two passion projects: my recording studio (Tango Sound Studios) and developing video games.

When I'm not teaching, working in my studio, or working on my side projects, I enjoy tinkering with old electronics, 3D printing, and (perhaps a bit off the wall compared to the others) sim racing!
