I am a graduate of Rutgers University, with a master's degree in education (M.Ed.). Since graduation, I have been a tutor for over ten years. The goal for my students is for them to blossom into engaged learners who become solid readers and writers able to create, understand, and discuss articles, essays, and stories. Every student I have ever worked with has strengths and abilities. Our first session starts identifying these assets. During each subsequent session, we work together to build a bridge between strengths and skills needed so that their literacy skills and their confidence develops and matures. I am an avid reader and writer. When not engrossed in a book or writing in one of my journals, I am outside walking and enjoying nature, especially where the trees mature and wildflowers bloom.
