I have always had an affinity for the Language Arts. I learned to read at a young age, and frequently had a book in my hands. This led me to major in English in college and to obtain a teaching certificate for the purpose of working with young people. My desire was to help them obtain the same love and desire for literature that I have. Reading is one of my favorite things to do, and by extension, writing. I have been published several times during my lifetime, and I continue to pursue it.

Hobbies

I have practiced yoga since I was a teenager and it has never left me. In addition, I have a fascination with metaphysical and so-called off-beat subjects. My interests have led me down many highways and byways during my life. My interest in the non-denominational Unity Movement led me to become a practicing ordained minister. Following retirement, I became a Reiki Master and I am currently working toward Emotional Freedom Techniques Certification.
