I am an experienced math teacher and tutor whose passion for math is matched with my strong desire to help the individual student. I earned my B.A.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from University of Minnesota, Duluth. Before transitioning to tutoring, I gained experience in the classroom as a certified teacher in Minnesota, Arizona, and Texas My extensive math tutoring experience includes Middle School math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, Business Calculus, and Business Statistics.

My passion is to create personalized lesson plans geared to the individual student, creating an enjoyable experience while building their self confidence and skill. My students feel my enthusiasm for math and my genuine care for them. My individualized tutor sessions have included teaching homeschool curriculum, assessing and teaching missed concepts, helping with homework, and preparing students for class, placement, and entrance exams. I have been delighted to have many students return for help in additional classes.
