About Me

I love working with students; it's a joy getting to know them as individuals and tailoring my tutoring methods to fit their specific needs and interests. I recently graduated from Georgia State University, where I received my BA in English Literature. I've tutored for five years; primarily, I've been a private English Language Arts tutor for middle and high school students. I am also a freelance editor, so I have a keen eye and practiced knowledge on grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. Some of the things I can help your child with include:-Developing and writing essays-Reading comprehension-Understanding sentence structures and writing complete, grammatically correct sentences-Using punctuation, including the ever-dreaded commaI believe in the importance of seeing and working with your child's individuality and creativity!
