I graduated high school at the same time as I completed an Associates Degree in Mechanical engineering at Lone Star College. I then served as a full-time volunteer representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Maceio Brasil for 1 year and 8 months. It was there that I learned to speak Portuguese and to work with and teach individuals and families. I also taught English as a second language both in the classroom and one on one through day-to-day conversation. I discovered how much I really enjoy teaching and helping others succeed.
I am currently studying mechanical engineering at Brigham Young University-Idaho and some of my favorite subjects are Math and Thermodynamics. I like playing sports (especially basketball), and I enjoy the outdoors.
