I have extensive experience teaching French at the high school and university levels as well as many years' experience tutoring adults and children in French. I am passionate about transmitting French language and French/Francophone cultures to students of the French language and my lessons often include music, films, and other cultural productions in order to highlight the diversity of French and Francophone cultures. I also have experience teaching French grammar and syntax at the beginner and advanced levels. The above prepares me to deliver excellent French lessons to students.
Outside of teaching and tutoring French, I am a seasoned interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in French and European studies, anthropology, cultural studies, history, and philosophy as well as academic writing (research papers and theses). My educational background and scholarly work in the humanities prepare me to deliver excellent instruction in European History, World History, English, Academic Writing and Editing, and ESL/ELL. I am eager to guide students in devising research questions and crafting compelling arguments.
