Education has always been a big part of my life. In graduate school, my instructors would often ask me to work with other students in class who needed assistance with the current lesson. This gift of being able to help others resonated with me and I realized very quickly that everyone does not learn in the same way.
To tell you a little bit about me, I majored in Speech-Language Pathology with a bilingual emphasis. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I specialize in a number of subjects (articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, swallowing, autism, AAC, etc.) and would be more than happy to help you achieve your goals through better scores on the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology. I am a patient, kind tutor with a knack for easing math anxiety. I understand that students retain best what they do themselves. For this reason, my tutoring philosophy is to allow the student to go as far as he or she can alone and then give the tools necessary to figure the rest out together. This process continues until the student feels confident doing the work alone.
