I'm a recent graduate of the University of Florida where I majored in International Studies with a regional focus on Asia, and I also majored in Japanese Language, Literature and Culture. I have been tutoring students since my sophomore year in high school where I did so through the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor society. In college I tutored students in the Japanese language and in English language acquisition. In all I have tutoring experience in Mathematics (Elementary math up to Algebra 1), Spanish (I took high level IB Spanish and passed with a 7/7), English/Reading, and Japanese. I have achieved N2 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), which is a language proficiency assessment test administered by the Japanese government. N2 indicates a level of Japanese sufficient to have successful employment in a Japanese language environment and it showcases mastery of Japanese one would encounter in a variety of daily life situations.
