About Me

From the moment I learned what a job was, I knew I wanted a job where I was helping others. Raised by a teacher and professor, it felt as if teaching was in my blood. Becoming a teacher, with the main goal of helping my students succeed, was a no brainer. I attended the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!!!) and earned my degree in Secondary Education- Social Studies. Social studies is an umbrella with A LOT of subjects under it. My personal favorite has to be government and politics! I have taught AP and Honors Government and Politics (12th grade) and World History (6th grade). I have a ton of passion for the subject I teach and I aim to make that apparent to my students. I truly believe that students should enjoy the content that they are learning and that their enjoyment will lead to success. I keep this in mind in my teaching and tutoring. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I am a huge foodie. I love to try new restaurants and cook new meals. I also love broadway and miss going to see shows in person. Lastly, the perfect day to me is a day spent at the beach.
