I am graduate of The College of Staten Island, NY, where I completed both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. In regards to my Bachelor, I majored in accounting, with minors in finance and economics. My master focused on elementary education. I am also a certified grant writer and a certified building administrator (ex. coaching, supervisor/Asst. Principal). I have always been passionate about educating myself, and others who I come into contact with. I am presently working on my doctorate in curriculum and instruction. My favorite subjects are Math and Reading. I truly believe that without mastering those two, one will always struggle with the other subjects. I have been an educator over 20 years and have had the pleasure of successfully sharing my knowledge with many students over the years. Every Saturday, I volunteer to serve at our neighborhood pantry. On a personal note, I have a wonderful 9yr old chihuahua named Candy who loves to play a lot. I even taught her how to play soccer, and she loves riding in the car. I love gardening, cooking and going for daily walks with my neighbors. Life is great, but obtaining an education makes it even better!!
Education & Certification
Undergraduate Degree: CUNY College of Staten Island - Bachelor of Science, Business and Managerial Economics
Graduate Degree: CUNY College of Staten Island - Master of Science, Elementary School Teaching
I love playing board games and building puzzles. My favorite sports are soccer and tennis. Whenever I visit my nephews, I try my hand at playing their video games, although I am not very good at it, but I try. They make fun of me every time, and last but not least, I love relaxing in front of the television with a movie or a football game, and some sort of junk food.
