I'm a rising senior at UC Berkeley, majoring in Chemical Biology and minoring in French. As a lifelong scientist, I've always brought forth a curiosity and drive for knowledge in everything I do. Some of my earliest memories are of exploring the Boston Science Museum as a toddler, where I would spend hours upon hours running from exhibit to exhibit and playing at each interactive station.
It is this very same curiosity which I hope to instill in my peers. Trust me, I know that learning about integrals, doing titrations, or reading "Moby Dick" isn't always going to be fun. But there is something innately and remarkably satisfying about LEARNING.
It's the same sense of accomplishment and joy that you get when you drop a few seconds off your 5k PR. When you finally play your recital piece at full-tempo. When all the time and effort that you poured into something pays off. It's a form of self-improvement that is tangible and rewarding in it of itself.
It is my pleasure and sincere goal to bring this joy of learning and pursuit to success to anyone who wants it. I bring to the table my education, my personality, and my enthusiasm because I don't view you as a customer, but as a fellow student and a fellow human being. With my help, I can make learning more enjoyable, more effective, and more efficient.
