I am currently a pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and a Minor in Biological Sciences on the pre-medical track at Rutgers University while conducting research at Columbia University's Department of Psychiatry. Early in my undergraduate years, I struggled greatly with courses and recently I have achieved 4.0 semesters in my more difficult upper-level science courses for Medical School. I really value and appreciate reflection, understanding our individual mistakes, and failing forward in a way that allows us to truly improve exponentially. Aside from my studies, I am a tenacious and compassionate first-generation student who is recognizes the importance of different perspectives within medicine. Understanding healthcare and medicine from a macro and micro level is important to me as I believe it will enable me to be the best future physician possible.

When I'm not studying I really enjoy writing for my writing for my blogging, watching or making YouTube videos, drives with friends, hiking, fishing, and playing with my new kitten!
