I am currently a rising senior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Human and Organizational Development with a minor in Chinese. I chose a major and minor combination that focuses on international business because I grew up in Singapore and would love to eventually return back to Asia. Throughout my time living in Asia, I traveled extensively and had the opportunity to work with children in Thailand and Cambodia, and help inspire them to pursue an education. Based on my experiences abroad, I believe that education has the power to change an individual's life for the better.
Throughout my time at Vanderbilt, I have worked as an ACT tutor. I have always been passionate about helping students gain confidence in standardized testing, and think it is important for students to have a mentor that has already been through the process. While test prep can be difficult, it is extremely rewarding to see students excel and reach their goal scores. In addition to standardized test prep, I also have extensive experience with essay writing and editing. Essay writing has always been a passion of mine and I look forward to helping students overcome any obstacles they may have with writing.
