About Me

I'm working towards a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas. I've been tutoring since Summer 2017 when I was a wee junior in Seven Lakes High School (Katy, TX). I've tutored students in Elementary/Middle School math, Algebra, Precalculus, Chemistry, SAT Math -- I have loved every bit of it! Separate from official tutoring, I have strong experience in working with others in Computer Science (AP Classes, Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS). I believe that the secret to quality tutoring lies in challenging students' foundations. Break it down and restructure it; explore the "why" behind the procedures that teachers teach us in STEM classes every day. I ask students a lot of questions, working to make them more confident in their knowledge and become wizards in problem solving and knowledge application. Outside of tutoring, you can catch me creating websites, drawing, playing Trombone, running, playing video games, or watching YouTube.
