My name is Frank. I've taught English as a Second Language in China from 2004 to 2014. I received a Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) in 2011. In 2014, I began working for the British Council as an IELTS examiner, where I conducted thousands of speaking exam and marked writing tasks while also working as a Second Marker and an Enquiry on Results (EOR) marker, until 2018, when I accepted a promotion within the British Council. Beginning at that time, I worked as an Assessment Solutions Consultant. As part of my duties in the role, I acted as the lead Quality Reviewer for the largest English language proficiency test in China, conducted research on various topics related to standard setting, artificial intelligence examining. I was also responsible for revising materials for Road to IELTS, an online prep course for IELTS takers. I received my MA in language testing, from Lancaster University in England, in 2018.
