I am a graduate of The State University of New York at New Paltz and am currently working towards my masters at Southeastern University. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics and I am obtaining my Master's in Educational Leadership. Throughout the years I have worked in the classroom as an elementary teacher and then obtained my certification in Middle School Mathematics which allowed me to work in my current profession as a middle school mathematics teacher. I have also been tutoring for over 10 years and I specialize in test preparation, organization, mathematics, and SAT/ACT Mathematics preparation. In my tutoring sessions I provide detailed instruction and consistently check for understanding. I break mathematics down into obtainable small lessons to allow for student success. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, exercise, reading, baking and even advancing my own learning.
