I am an experienced classroom teacher. My first experience was teaching third and fourth graders in Chicago. I also was a substitute teacher for a few years. My favorite opportunity was teaching Chinese students English. I currently teach in the AVID program at a local middle school. I love the outdoors. Hiking is my favorite hobby. Being out in the fresh air, and exploring is very relaxing. I am also an avid reader. My favorite genre is historical fiction. Watching old movies and spending time with family is wonderful too.
