Although born in the United States, I grew up in Central Asia and then Germany, and from an early age developed a love of connecting with people. I am passionate about teaching because at its core, teaching is about connecting with the person across from you so that you can tackle their goals and challenges together. I also love to learn and am deeply passionate about empowering those instincts in other people.
My formal education started at the University of Michigan, where I studied Movement Science, followed by my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Long Island University in New York. A large portion of my job as a physical therapist includes teaching people about their bodies. I am also a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, because anatomy and physiology are my jam!
If I'm not teaching people about physical therapy or how their bodies work, you can find me in the gym or training my German Shepherd rescue, Dax.
