I am currently enrolled in the MAT TESOL program with Kennesaw State University. I do currently teach with a program called QKids, which teaches Chinese children English. It allows me to work on the skillsets required to be an ESOL teacher, which are: patience, kindness, and understanding. I work with ages 5-12, so I have a variety of ages and learning levels throughout my mornings. I enjoy communicating and learning more about other cultures, while also learning effective tools that help me become a better teacher for the future.
A few personal tidbits of information about me are:
I LOVE reading. For me, it's like a movie going on in my mind. I am able to create and picture each character in the book and what their surroundings look like.
I am a lover of the outdoors. I feel more at peace when I am in nature, allowing me to relish in the beauty that surrounds me. This includes hikes, walks, or any other outdoor activities.
I have become a huge advocate for health and exercise. I love moving my body and fueling it with the right nutrients. It makes me feel better and act happier throughout the day.
I have a love for playing guitar. It is a stress outlet for me, allowing me to express myself in ways I cannot when around other people.
