My math courses range from Elementary math, all the way up to advanced geometry, precalculus, and trigonometry. I have tutored students throughout middle school, high school and college. Through the last 10+ years, I have received excellent feedback from those that I have helped. During high school, I was involved in the after school tutoring club, which helped students pass classes that we have as tutors have already taken and received a B+ or higher in the course. While in college, I conducted SI (supplemental instruction) through the university. SI sessions were held for students who struggled in their course and needed help narrowing in on rigorous course material, and areas of the chapters that needed extra attention. During this time, students scores averaged about 16 points higher on exams, increasing their overall score at the end of the semester by a whole letter grade!
I am very interested in science, mainly anatomy and biology. My goal is to obtain a doctorate degree in physical therapy and work with athletes coming back from injuries. I was a substitute teacher for Orange County Public Schools, and I am currently a substitute teacher for Guilford County Public Schools. I have been known to help students in both math and science based courses. I have just recently moved to Greensboro NC to further my education, and have also accepted a position at Randolph Health as a physical therapy aide in order to further my knowledge and gain experience in physical therapy. I look forward to helping you in your science and math courses! If you have any questions, I am available on Varsity Tutors! I will try my hardest to get back to you as soon as I am able!
