Hello! I am Danielle L. I am an educator with a passion for math and science. I have a Bachelor's of Arts from Howard University and a Master's in Public Health from Emory University. Additionally, I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I have a vast amount of experience tutoring and teaching scholars for elementary to high school age.

I began tutoring in high school assisting and tutoring other children in my church specific in math and science. During my tenure at Howard University, I worked with an after school program that tutored and worked with middle school and elementary school scholars to ensure growth in both reading and mathematics. While in graduate school, I worked as an after-school facilitator and substitute teacher at an independent school in Atlanta. During that time, I assisted scholars in math and science subject ranging from upper elementary to high school content. I currently serve as a math teacher in a high performing charter school in the District of Columbia. I look forward to working with your scholar and encouraging their academic growth.

I have taught in the classroom for over five years. Specifically, I provide targeted academic math intervention for middle and upper elementary on a daily basis. Additionally, I have a Masters of Public Health from Emory University, where I conducted a vast amount of quantitative research.

I have always had a passion for the exploratory nature of science. I received a BA in Sociology with a minor in Biology and a Masters of Public Health from Emory University. Additionally, due to my innovative approach to upper elementary and middle-grade science content, I was awarded the Georgia Governor's Innovative Teacher Award in 2016.
